"GUN WALKING"
EMMY AWARD WINNER
This CBS NEWS series won an Emmy in 2012 for Investigative Journalism. Our reports exposed a controversial program in the US Department of Justice that allowed members of Mexican drug cartels to legally purchase assault weapons inside America, from U.S. gun stores. The feds said allowing the gun purchases would make it easier to track the cartels. But instead many of the weapons were used in horrific murders, including the killing of a US federal agent on American soil.

"FATHERS, SONS AND PUNK ROCK"
FEATURE STORY
This is a heartwarming story about fathers and sons. And punk rock. The sons are the band "Rough Francis." Their fathers are the band "Death." "Death" is now recognized as one of the very first punk bands, who were WAY ahead of their time. They were young African-American guys in Detroit, in the 1970's. All around them were Motown and soul. But they made loud, angry rock. Decades later their sons discovered their fathers' music, and as a tribute formed their own band, playing loud, fast hardcore. This is a family love story, set to a crunchy beat.
